Blackberry leaf has been a staple of traditional European and Appalachian folk herbalism for centuries. Long before it appeared in modern wellness culture, communities across Europe and early America were brewing Rubus fruticosus leaf as a foundational part of their daily ritual, honoring the whole plant, not just the berry. It holds a particularly cherished place in British and Celtic herbal tradition, where it has been gathered and brewed as a daily botanical tea for generations.

Each leaf can be brewed solo as a single-ingredient botanical tea or used to blend your own custom fruit leaf tea at home. Whether you are building a mindful daily tea practice, creating your own signature botanical blend, or drawn to the rich folk herbal roots of European and Appalachian botanical tradition, this blackberry leaf tea was made for you.

About This Leaf:
Rubus fruticosus leaf is rich in naturally occurring plant compounds including tannins, flavonoids, ellagic acid, and a broad spectrum of botanical polyphenols that have given it a celebrated place in European and Native American herbal traditions for centuries. It has been brewed as a daily botanical tea across folk herbal cultures worldwide and remains one of the most traditionally significant fruit leaves in Western herbal literature. We are honored to offer it as a clean, single-origin botanical, processed with care and rooted in that same ancient tradition.

How to Brew:
Use 1 to 2 teaspoons per 8 oz of boiling water. Steep 7 to 10 minutes. An extra-fine mesh infuser is recommended. Pairs beautifully with raw honey and a squeeze of lemon.
Note: Blackberry leaf brews a rich amber tea with a pleasantly earthy, slightly tannic flavor reminiscent of a robust black tea. Bold and satisfying without the caffeine.
